Web Developer  rteams

Join the rteams family to build polished frontends for WordPress and Next.js projects. You’ll work with a tight-knit development team on a mix of client sites, taking designs and turning them into fast, reliable web builds.

What you’ll do

  • Turn designs into production-ready websites (primarily WordPress and Next.js).
  • Build custom WordPress themes and templates from scratch.
  • Implement headless CMS solutions where needed.
  • Work on content population, testing, deployment, and post-launch fixes.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and sometimes clients.
  • Help maintain sites and tooling, and document what you build.

This is a front-end heavy role, but you’ll need a practical understanding of PHP to support theme work and integrations.

Must-have skills

  • WordPress: custom themes/templates.
  • Next.js and React.
  • TypeScript.
  • HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript (modern, maintainable code).
  • Experience with headless CMS and GraphQL.
  • Twig templating.
  • Sass and build tools (Gulp/Webpack) and experience with utility frameworks like Tailwind.
  • Git for version control.
  • Experience deploying on Vercel.
  • Basic knowledge of DNS records, WHM and cPanel.
  • Building HTML emails.
  • Solid understanding of SEO-friendly front-end patterns.
  • Agency experience is essential.

The person we want

  • You care about clean code and reliable user experiences.
  • You’re a self-starter who can take a brief and own delivery.
  • Fast thinker who adapts when priorities shift and learns from each build.
  • Team player who enjoys pairing with others and can talk to clients when needed.
  • Happy to get involved across the business: writing docs, improving processes, and helping teammates.

If you enjoy shipping frontends, solving odd bugs, and working in a busy agency, we’d love to hear from you. Apply and tell us about a recent project you built and what you learned from it.
